Information we get from your use of our website
We collect information on how people use our website including IP addresses, cookies, browser details and countries. This is used to improve our website and services.

- Video information streamed from CCTV cameras connected to our system
We also receive data through networking (e.g. business cards) and add these details, if relevant, onto our database.

We’re based in the UK but sometimes your personal information may be transferred within the European Economic Area. All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the UK however for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers in the UK and/or the European Economic Area. No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

- provide you with information on other services that we feel may be of interest to you in line with those you have previously expressed an interest via our website, events or other communications

How long do we keep your data?
We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.

- For as long as we provide goods and/or services to you and then for as long as someone could bring a claim against us; and/or

We may pass your information to our third-party service providers, agents, subcontractors and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example the generation of personalised psychometric instrument reports). You have the right to ask for a copy of the information C.A.M.E.R.A Ltd holds about you. If you change email address, or any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, tell us so that we can update our records by emailing info@camera-watch.co.uk.

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Details transmitted normally over the Internet can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
16 or Under?
We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged 16 or under. If you are aged 16 or under, please get your parent/guardian’s permission beforehand whenever you provide us with personal information.
